Royal Highland Centre - Visit Scotland Expo

RHC contacted BrownstoneIT online for a quick result; The Highland Centre needed internet access for 200 exhibitors which could be distributed wirelessly. BrownstoneIT’s rapid-response unit dealt with the enquiry efficiently and they were on site with a solution within 2 days.

The telecoms infrastructure on site was limited due to the reach from the exchange. This meant The Highland Centre itself could only offer a limited capacity for the exhibitors and certainly couldn’t cope with 200 of them – a broader service and bandwidth was needed.

BrownstoneIT was given 2 days notice before the Expo in April. Having the easy van set up meant that setting up on site was super-fast. We arrived 2 hours before the event started and deployed our automated satellite system. In addition to this we placed 4 WiFi antennas inside the event hall creating a meshed network.

This gave us quick setup and breakdown, whilst offering our client a tip top service.
