NAAFI satellite broadband in Afghanistan

Based on BrownstoneIT's successful installation of its satellite broadband solution to NAAFI in Germany BrownstoneIT was asked to install the solution in Afghanistan.
The aim of the project was to provide communications to restaurants, cafes and shops operating on the Nato Airbase in Kandahar. Although the base was large in size, it was situated in a remote location away from terrestrial communications. The service provides the outlets with secure communications, stock control and chip and pin facilities.
BrownstoneIT looks to further its relationship with NAAFI over the coming year with installing the broadband satellite solution across all military bases in Afghanistan.
NAAFI is the British Armed Forces welfare organisation. Its shareholders are the Navy, Army and Air Force.
