The diverse and busy nature of mobile libraries requires a service that is quick and easy to operate. Mobile libraries tend to stop in a community only for a short period of time with frequent change of location. The solution needs to provide instant connectivity, ease of use and high transfer speed.
Our solution is:-
- Online from between 3 and 5 minutes of arrival on site– about the same time as it takes a PC to boot.
- Has a two button operating, 1 - to get online, 2 - to pack away after the session. (we don’t require a separate PC in order to operate)
Our service also allows mobile libraries to extend there services to the community. We can add WiFi antennas so that broadband can be broadcast around a village or into a local community hall. Allowing the Mobile library to offer :-
- Internet café service
- Support outdoor events
- Broadcast back live images from events
- Local news or radio service
- Internet training services
- People can see exactly where the mobile library is in real time.
In total, Brownstone can help a council to extend there reach within the community, now the library vans can be more in-touch with its users. Offering current and up to date services needed by the 21Centuary.
