How does it work?

• Request for information is sent from your PC to your satellite dish and then up to the satellite.

• The signal is received at the Network Operations Centre. (NOC)

• The NOC passes your request to the desired internet site.

• The requested information is then forwarded to the NOC and then up to the satellite.

• The information is then zoomed direct to your satellite dish and then onto your computer.

BrownstoneIT Broadband will provide you with a satellite dish, the indoor receiver/transmitter and the cabling to connect you to our satellite. Our engineers will mount the dish in a suitable place on your building and cable it to the indoor equipment. They will then install the bespoke software and activate your connection - you now have constant internet access!

Most locations in the UK can communicate with the satellite using a 74cm dish mounted on the floor, wall or roof of a building. Once we have received an order, we will carry out site surveys to determine the appropriate positioning of the equipment.
